The Way of Kings

One of my favorite things about dawns (and sunsets) is looking at the reflection in the opposite direction. The mountains near Albuquerque are named for the red color that the setting sun casts upon their western face. Sometimes the light of a rising sun will shine on all the way across the sky and cast a spell of fire and light in the midst of the clouds.

This is a sunrise, looking east.

I love these clouds and I especially like the lone radio towers on top of the mountain, standing watch, spying the fiery signs of destruction in a distant land.

The title of this picture come from this. I think they look similar.
