I love looking through windows. Part of that is just me being a nerd. Windows make me think of transmission coefficients and absorption rates and crystalline structures. It’s like peering at the world through science.
The other part of it is that windows feel like portals, like they are almost magical. Like what I see through this window might be another world. I can’t touch it, I can’t smell it, but I can see it and much of what I see is fascinating.
Behind the plane there is a jet taking off, there are windsocks and a runway. Through the window — there is construction. Windows are magic.
