Ice Hiking

Thinking that Tucson would remain permanently warm we decided to go hiking in mid-November. What we didn’t account for was that by the time you drive up to 9000 feet it doesn’t matter what your latitude is the wind is still cold. Surprisingly, even in the midst of snow and bitter wind there was still green life fighting with the chill.
