Clive Jackson was a science fiction fan in the fifties who wrote some reviews and articles for various magazines. He published some short stories as well and appeared to be making the transition from fan to a professional writer when he disappeared. He hasn’t written anything since the early fifties.
Before then he wrote a story called “The Swordsmen of Varnis” which George Lucas stole for a scene in Indiana Jones. The story is only about two pages and really is little more than a single scene anyway. It’s well written enough that it’s worth reading and it’s actually quite amusing when you get to the end.
That’s about all I have to say. There wasn’t much to this one.
